MJ’s not the best ever.

Michael Jordan was the most clutch player to walk the face of the earth in any sport. When the game was on the line there is not a man I would rather have holding the ball. But when it comes to straight basketball I would have to put him number three on my list of all-time greats. Kobe Bryant and Oscar Robertson in his prime straight up are better ball players than MJ. Kobe Bryant is the single  greatest scorer of all-time, youngest player to 20,000 points and just beginning to play the best basketball of his career.  His 81 point performance should forever stand as the single greatest sports performance in this era.  Oscar Robertson averaged a triple double for his career. He was the greatest basketball player to play the game.  Unfortunatley he was not of the same era of Kobe or MJ and didn’t have the same media attention or endorsements.  Had he, I think he would in more peoples eyes have been the greatest basketball player of all time.

Tupac vs. Biggie

April 15, 2008

This is a question that seems to always arise around my friends when were sitting around talking. And it is a legitimate question: who was the better rapper: Tupac Shakur or the Notorious B.I.G.  I feel that both had exceptional lyrical skills which translated into legedary songs.  Some of Tupac’s songs though seemed to have a more serious tone while Biggie was more of a jokester.  Personally I enjoy more of Tupac’s songs than those of Biggie.  Tupac has had more posthumous hits than anyone I can think of.  My favorite being “Ghetto Gospel” with Elton John.
